Privacy Policy

The short version

This is a marketing website for IAmMoody, a fashion show and event production company in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It has no accounts, no online store, and no forms that store your information on our website. The only personal information we receive is what you choose to email to us, and your name and email address if you join our invitation list. We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising.

Information you send us

The contact form on this site does not send anything by itself. When you press Send by email, the form opens a draft message in your own email app, addressed to richard@iammoody.com, with what you typed filled in: your name, email address, and any phone number, organization, event details and message you added. Nothing is sent until you press Send in your email app. Our website never receives or stores what you type into the form.

If you send us that email, or email us directly, it arrives in our inbox. We use it to reply to you, prepare quotes, and plan events you ask us about. We keep correspondence for as long as we need it for those purposes and for our business records. We do not sell it or use it for advertising. We may share details with venues, vendors or partners only as needed to carry out an event you have asked us to plan.

Our invitation list

If you sign up at the bottom of any page, your email address and the first name you give (optional) go to Mailchimp, the service we use to send invitations to our events. Our website does not store them. Mailchimp also records when and from what IP address you signed up, and it may send you an email asking you to confirm your subscription.

We use the list only to send IAmMoody invitations and event news, a few times a year. Our emails may include standard Mailchimp tracking that tells us whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. Every email has an unsubscribe link, or you can email us and we will remove you. See Intuit Mailchimp's privacy statement.

What the website collects automatically

• No cookies, analytics or ad trackers. This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising tools. Signing up for the invitation list sends your details to Mailchimp, as described above; nothing is sent to Mailchimp unless you sign up.
• Hosting. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub receives technical information when you load a page, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, and may keep logs. See GitHub's privacy statement.
• Fonts. The site's typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. Your browser therefore requests them from Google, which receives your IP address and browser information. See Google's privacy policy.

Links to other sites

This site links to other services, including our pages on Facebook and Instagram, ticketing sites and partner websites. Those sites collect information under their own policies, and we do not control them. Your email provider likewise handles your messages under its own terms.

Photos and video from events

We show photographs from events we have produced. If you appear in a photo on this site and would like it removed, email us and we will take it down promptly.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the invitation list at any time. You can ask us what correspondence and contact details we hold from you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and you can tell us at any time that you do not want to be contacted again. Email richard@iammoody.com and we will respond.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

If our practices change, for example if we add analytics, we will update this page and the date at the top.
