Richard Moody's Holiday Charity Party
A December tradition in Minneapolis: bring a gift, give back, celebrate the season.
Every December, Richard Moody's Holiday Charity Party brings friends, neighbors, models, business partners and supporters together to raise gifts and donations for Twin Cities children, teens and families.
Beneficiaries change with the year: the Domestic Abuse Project, Sabathani Community Center and The Link in 2010; WE WIN Institute and The Sanneh Foundation in 2021; The Sanneh Foundation again in 2023; and Sabathani Community Center in 2024, with a teen-focused gift drive and live music from Dave Thompson & Friends, DJ Cousin Christopher and a surprise performance by Esera Tuaolo.
In 2020 the party became a drive-thru toy and food donation event so the giving could continue.
